Stephen didn’t want to just pick up a product and start selling it without studying and researching all the different systems available. He wanted to know and understand not just how the parts interacted, but sought a deeper understanding in the theory of thermal dynamics. He attended one of only two schools in the nation that offered a degree in Solar engineering and graduated in 1982. He and his lovely wife moved to Virginia to build homes and implement some of the passive Solar heating techniques he had studied. With lots of energy and plenty of desire Stephen worked to offer customers a better and less expensive way to heat water and homes using free energy from the Sun.

Opting to work with Active Solar Water Heaters, Stephen and his wife moved to Florida, the sunshine state, and opened for business. “It’s a great state for Solar Energy!”.

For the next twenty-seven years, the best way to install a Solar Water Heater or Solar Pool Heater became evident through lessons learned in his new school…the school of hard knocks. All the techniques learned over the years on how to install the best working system are now incorporated into each one that he sells today. This ensures a durable product void of the service work that plagues other systems on the market. Only the best components, proven so by years of service free operation, are used in the systems that he now offers.

Because of his deep knowledge and understanding of Solar Equipment, Stephen sells the AET brand collector and claims it to be the most durable one on the market. He also designs, builds and sells his own Solar Water Heating Collector as well. Either collector is available along with a complete system package that includes everything needed to install a system. System kits and spare parts for any solar system are available through his company “All Efficient Products Inc.”
